As a service to the horse-using community, the AANHCP posts the names, practitioner status, and contact information of its current U.S. and International practitioners. This list will be updated as new practitioners come into the program. Both certified practitioners (CPs who have completed their training), and student practitioners (PTs who have not yet a graduate) are listed.

Beware of persons misrepresenting themselves as AANHCP certified practitioners (CP). Please review our listing of Certified Practitioners.

Horse owners should query our PT’s (student practitioners) directly for their level of experience. All PTs listed have completed at least Steps 1-6 in the training program to be posted, but may actually have completed Steps 1-8; again inquire. PTs are required to gain experience in what we call “Independent Study” (Step 7). We feel at this point in their training, they are ready to serve the horse-using community. All PTs have a well-coordinated support structure around them to help with any hoof care issue that may be new to them.
