The AANHCP is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our board of directors runs the legal affairs of the association, and issues operational mandates — official directives — which are carried out by a lattice of interrelated departments and committees in the field. These directives encompass the full range of activities guided by our vital mission, including research, training, education, and advocacy for the humane care of equines worldwide.
